What has happened that makes you skeptical about your safety in Rajasthan? From what I can tell, there have been no major attacks since May, but I may be wrong. There have been rising prices in the recent months, but that has been happening everywhere. I would just keep an eye on things as your trip approaches, because a lot can change between now and then.
