Next summer, Beijing will be holding the Summer Olympics. I am keenly interested in going (and will hopefully already be in China at that time anyways). I have never attempted to attend the Olympic games, and I’m wondering how complex it is to get there for the games, the accommodations, tickets, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hey—I don’t have any inside info on getting tickets, just what I can find through googling: they are on sale now, actually—since mid-April and of the 7 million tickets available, 75% will be sold domestically in China. No doubt you will want to book any of your accomodations, tours, and travel as soon as possible, because that will be very competitive to find, as well.
